I Am Sad!

No one reads this blog anymore since I don’t post much to it anymore (that’s about to change), so I felt it was safe to post some if my feelings here, as opposed to any of my other social media. I just really need to get this out of my head.

I am sad.

Very sad.

Sad with the acceptance that things don’t feel like they are going to work out the way I hoped they would.

Sad with the loneliness that comes with not being able to say what’s deep in my heart and mind to those closest to me.

I am sad.

I know I am not alone.

Hey dudes and dudettes! Welcome back to the weekly workout!

Wee are using kettlebells today, but you can use dumbbells as well. Any weights will work.

We are using our favorite layout: 50 seconds of work, 10 seconds of rest. Move through all of the exercises until you have finished the set. Give yourself a 30-second break between rounds.

We are completing 4 rounds for a total of 25.5 minutes.

Do this routine and let me know how it works (or doesn’t) for you. Thanks for reading.

Yours in sweat,

– Irene

“T” Thursdays – The Change

In December, my period was 3 days late.

It was supposed to show up again near the end of January, but she stood me up.

Instead she showed up 3 weeks late, in mid-February. Even though it would be ALMOST impossible, I took a pregnancy test anyway. It was negative…obviously.

We are now in March, and I’m already 2 days late. Le sigh.

Prior to these months, my period was on time each and every month, unless I was pregnant. Even after getting my tubes tied in March 2015, my menstrual cycle did not vary.
