Welp, it seems that summer is starting to come to a close – the cool mornings and the leaves changing color already tell me that autumn is right around the corner.

Now is a good time to take advantage of the outdoors and get some really great interval training in before the snow starts.

This workout is incredibly easy to design because you won’t need any equipment. Just find 2 points on a landscape – either 2 lamp posts, a tree and a mailbox – whatever they are, they should be at least 50 feet apart.

And here is the workout you will be doing between each point.

  1. Sprint from point A to point B.
  2. 20 Russian twists
  3. Jump lunge back from point B to point A.
  4. 10 Push ups

Continue to repeat this set until you have completed 20 minutes. Don’t forget to do a warm up job and to stretch before AND after this routine.

See, easy to design. Doesn’t mean it’s easy to do.
