I think I might have finally figured out a workout and training schedule that works for me. After Sunday’s terrific 5-mile run on the Massapequa Park Preserve bike trail (part of the Bethpage Bikeway, which runs for 12.5 miles total) I realize that day of rest the day before works wonders for my long run. So, I am gonna keep to that schedule for now.
This week’s workout schedule:
- Monday: Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance/Yoga
- Tuesday: 4-mile run/Yoga
- Wednesday: 1-mile swim
- Thursday: Insanity Cardio Recovery/Yoga
- Friday: 4-mile run/Yoga
- Saturday: Rest Day
- Sunday: 6-mile run/Yoga
