The Massapequa Park Preserve bike trail

I think I might have finally figured out a workout and training schedule that works for me. After Sunday’s terrific 5-mile run on the Massapequa Park Preserve bike trail (part of the Bethpage Bikeway, which runs for 12.5 miles total) I realize that day of rest the day before works wonders for my long run. So, I am gonna keep to that schedule for now.

This week’s workout schedule:

  • Monday: Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance/Yoga
  • Tuesday: 4-mile run/Yoga
  • Wednesday: 1-mile swim
  • Thursday: Insanity Cardio Recovery/Yoga
  • Friday: 4-mile run/Yoga
  • Saturday: Rest Day
  • Sunday: 6-mile run/Yoga
